Jasmine Green Tea Balancing Toner!

Today I am going to review the Jasmine Green Tea Balancing Toner by Herbivore! Before we start I would like to add that I had other skincare products I was excited to review, but due to the coronavirus outbreak and Texas State University’s extended spring break I am not able to review those products currently. I would usually never review two items of the same brand in a row, but that’s our reality this week. I am also going to cut the review slightly so that I can address the coronavirus effects on the beauty community.

Prior to applying the toner

I am super excited to be showing you this product because it’s one of my go to products when I’m on the run! As always, you can click here and it will take you to the product page so you can see all the information and ingredients. Although I do use this product fairly regularly, I will still give it a fair review. So, prior to adding the product I noticed that my skin was a little red toned, dry as always, and very acne-prone. Unlike my other reviews, I applied this product during the day so my skin wasn’t as dull as usual. I suggest spraying about 6 inches away from your face for maximum product usage.

After applying the toner

After applying the toner my skin was incredibly shiny and I even think it changed some of the undertones in my skin to make me look more lively. It was also pretty sticky which can be somewhat annoying for a couple minutes on a bare face, but would be great for applying makeup. Pro tip: when spraying any product whether it’s hairspray or a toner like this one, move your phone out of the way because the spray will make your phone screen gross. I also like that the bottle is glass, it makes it feel more weighty and expensive. The only thing is that since it is glass, you must be careful when traveling with it. It also has a fresh scent that I LOVE!

Overall I am going to give this product a 9/10! I personally think this is a great product to spray on your face really quick while you’re running out the door for a subtle luminosity that will make you look more lively. This is a great product for people who are busy, but still like to practice self care. I. didn’t give this a 10 because it is pretty sticky and I’m afraid that people with oily skin might not like that feeling over their oils. It does specify that it is best for redness and dry skin, but if someone who has red toned oily skin wants to try this it may not be the best look. Lastly, it is $39 which can be expensive for a facial spray, so just like the last review you can click here and it will take you to a page where you can buy it in a bundle with some other great products for $49 which I do think is a fair price.

Unless you have been living under a rock, you know that the Coronavirus has basically taken over the world. Schools, restaurants, stores, etc. are closing so that people can practice social distancing during this pandemic. With that being said, Ulta stores will be closing this Thursday at 6 PM and Sephora’s have started closing today, March 17th. I encourage everyone to practice social distancing as much as possible, and if you are at an Ulta before they close pay close attention to make sure the product you’re buying is new and not tampered with. A lot of people will open a non-tester item and check it out for themselves and then put it back on the shelf. I am going to attach a couple articles from Allure, The New York Times, and Ulta themselves for you all to check out if you wish to know more about what this looks like for the beauty community.

I hope you enjoyed this review of the Jasmine Green Tea Balancing Toner! If you would like to continue on this journey you can always subscribe to my blog for email updates every time I make a new post! If you haven’t already, go check out my latest post about the Prism 5% Exfoliating Glow Potion!
